Sports Coach Training Programme in Ballinrobe Print

Are you a Jobseeker or in Part Time Employment??

Do you want to achieve a coaching qualification in GAA, Soccer, Rugby, Basketball  and other sports so that you can work as a Multi Sport Coach?

Goal to Work Multi Agency Committee would like to invite applications from anyone living in Ballinrobe or the South Mayo area to participate in a sports coach training programme commencing in September 2017. Participation on this course will not affect a social welfare payment.

 

Trainee Coaches must:

  • Be a Jobseeker or in part-time employment
  • Have an interest in sport
  • Be willing to participate in a 10-week training programme for 3 days per week, based in Ballinrobe from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm

Awards achieved will include:

  • Basketball Foundation level Coaching Award
  • GAA Coaching Award - Foundation
  • FAI - Kick Start 1
  • Rugby Coaching Award - Mini and Foundation
  • Walking Leader Training
  • FETAC Level 5 Occupation Sports First Aid
  • Child Protection in Sport - Safeguarding 1
  • Disability Awareness Training
  • Sport Ireland Active Leadership Training
  • Coaching Chiuldren Programme - Coaching Ireland

As places will be limited to 12 Trainee Coaches short listing may apply.
